Elena Recondo

I am a visual artist with a background in Fine Arts, working primarily in oil and watercolor.

My work explores light, color, atmosphere, and the emotional memory of a moment. I am interested not in reproducing reality literally, but in transforming what I observe into a personal visual language shaped by intuition, mood, and color.

Landscapes, flowers, animals, and fragments of everyday life become a starting point for exploring movement, texture, and subtle emotional states. Through painting, I seek to preserve the fleeting feeling of a place or a moment and give it a new, lasting presence.

Alongside my studio practice, I participate in exhibitions and lead creative workshops, sharing my approach to art, observation, and the creative process.

Degree in Fine Arts and Art Education, specializing in drawing and decorative arts. Additional training in graphic design and visual communication.

2026 — Lumières du Pays Basque, Saint-Palais, France. Exhibition of oil paintings and watercolors inspired by the landscapes, light and atmosphere of the Basque Country.
