Erol YıLdıRıM

Erol Yıldırım is a contemporary Turkish artist whose works explore the hidden emotional layers of human life. His paintings emerge from intense inner experiences, music, personal stories, and the atmosphere of historical places. Yıldırım often transforms deep emotions such as longing, despair, and inner conflict into symbolic figures and surreal compositions.

Using gold, silver, and copper emulsion grounds, he creates textured surfaces that carry both spiritual and psychological depth. Many of his works contain multiple hidden faces and forms, inviting the viewer to discover new meanings with every look.

Beyond aesthetics, his art often functions as a form of emotional reflection and healing for those who experience it. Each painting opens a “forbidden zone” — a personal and universal space where memories, pain, and hope coexist.

I took the Turkish Military Academy painting course. I took a painting course from the Iranian painter Yakup Hüseyinzade. Between 2010 and 2013, she took the printmaking techniques course from Professor H. Müjde Ayan.
