AS SEEN IN VOGUE ERWIN MICHALEC’S DESIGNS HAVE A MIXED MEDIA OF ETHNIC INFLUENCES. HE IS FASCINATED WITH HAITANIAN VOODOO AND THE STRONG CONNECTION BETWEEN POLISH AND HAITIAN. INSPIRED BY THE CARIBBEAN AND AFRICAN CULTURE HAS BECOME A SIGNATURE ELEMENT THROUGHOUT HIS COLLECTIONS.

At the moment as an artist and fashion designer Erwin Michalec is running an art experiment which includes on-line live streaming by his social media from art studio and various places. This is an unique art project with fashion designer creating a video clips that shows the stages of painting picture on fabrics in each single dress/outfit.
