Eternity Now

A 30 year old San Diego kid. I take after my Mom who does all kinds of art mediums and my Dad who is a crafter.

I like finger painting the most. Spray paints and stencils are fun and so is playing around with different materials.

If I could carve a mountain I would.

A little story:
In high school I remember taking a few friends out to a bridge where we brought buckets of soap water, stencils, sponges, and brushes. I had seen a video about an artist who painted in the brake dust caked on a roadside wall (I think it was Paul Curtis)
We went to town for a good fifteen minutes on the concrete pillars. We drew some doodles, some stenciled birds the likes of Sigur Ros, some words of encouragement and quotes we knew. As if on cue... WHOOP WHOOP!
Police lights, and we were all directed to sit on the curb. So we did. I told the guys, "I'll do the talking"

As a few more cruisers arrived the police officer asked, "What are you guys doing?"
Me, "Painting with soap and water in the brake dust."
He seemed a little confused and amused.
Another officer rolled up and hollered from his car, "What're they doin?"
"Drawing with soap and water in the brake dust"
"... We'll shoot, that's not illegal."
And he drove off.
