Pat Étoile was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, where she currently lives and works. Her artistic practice seeks to inspire emotions that transcend explanation—moments of fascination and beauty that transform the lives of those who encounter her work. Through color, form, and symbolism, she guides viewers into dreamlike realms, touching on the subconscious, hidden vibrations, and the mysteries of what cannot be seen or easily deciphered.
Working across painting and sculpture, Étoile embraces a wide variety of materials and themes while moving beyond trends and preconceptions. Above all, her work is rooted in emotion. Her artistic references include Georgia O’Keeffe, Vincent van Gogh, Wassily Kandinsky, Leonora Carrington, Joaquín Sorolla, and Jenny Saville, among many others who inspire her exploration of the connections between the visible and the invisible.
Étoile received more than eight years of training at the Espositivo Painting Academy in Madrid and earned an Advanced Vocational Training in Plastic Arts and Design with a specialization in General Sculptural Techniques from La Palma Art School. She also studied for five months in New Orleans, USA, broadening her creative perspective.
Additionally, she completed specialized courses in Exhibition Organization (“Hago Cosas”), Cultural Management, and Curatorial Studies at La Casa Encendida in Madrid. Beyond her artistic training, she holds a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property, which provide her with a unique understanding of the relationship between creativity, culture, and professional practice.
Her work has been exhibited widely in Madrid and beyond. Highlights include the selection of her piece Self-Portrait for exhibition at Centro Conde Duque in 2018 as part of the “Haciendo Barrio” competition, as well as numerous group shows at Espositivo between 2019 and 2024, including “Large Format,” “I Brought You This That I Like So Much,” “90 Threads,” and “Open Studio.” She has also participated in collective charity exhibitions such as "Flowers for Ukraine" (Moon Flower, 2022) and "CP 28010 Navidad" (Espositivo, 2022). Her solo exhibitions include "Transcendence of Dream, Moment, and Reality" at Cinco Tejas Gallery (2022), "Faces" at Amor Hermoso Bar (2022–2023), and most recently "The Playlist" at Espacio Lu (2024).
