Eugenio Tocchet

After more than 45 years of experience in marketing, communication, and visual culture — ten within a major international corporation and thirty-five as CEO and Creative Director of an offline and online communication agency — I can now dedicate myself fully to the artistic research and creative freedom that professional commitments did not previously allow me to pursue. My journey toward art has grown from a long experience with images, photography, graphic design, communication, and creativity, enriched by travel and encounters with different cultures and realities. Throughout my professional career, I developed photographic and editorial projects, created large-format artistic calendars inspired by places across five continents, and produced contemporary artworks for interior design projects in homes, offices, and exhibition spaces, including Salone del Mobile in Milan and Progetto Fuoco in Verona. Today I create contemporary artworks through mixed and integrated digital techniques and Fine Art photography, personally following the process from the initial concept through production and printing. My artistic research is rooted in the concept of perception: what we see does not necessarily coincide with what is. I therefore seek to observe reality with different eyes, beyond habit, revealing unexpected possibilities and connections that normally remain invisible. Through digital art and Fine Art photography, I explore the relationship between human beings, nature, matter, and the universe, moving between micro and macro, visible and invisible, recognizable and unexpected. I do not necessarily seek what is extraordinary, but the extraordinary dimension already present in things. The reality we know is already so vast and astonishing that it reminds us of the limits of our perception: the universe, matter, life, and the relationships that connect everything continue to raise questions without definitive answers. For this reason, my work does not simply seek to represent, but to create a new experience of seeing and leave space for reflection. Writing is also part of my research: writing to learn and creating images with different eyes to learn are two paths arising from the same desire for knowledge.
