I am a painter and I see my art as my personal journal.

Although my work is the expression of my own journey through life and observations of the world around me, I hope to find themes that speak to the heart and the imagination.

I am motivated by meditation my experiences, dreams and music. In fact, I feel that I paint as if I were composing a song, using color and emotion as my notes, form and balance as structure, and a bit of humor as counter point.

Elements of the iconography and symbolism of my Greek heritage often find their way into my paintings. Repetitive shapes, the use of metallic paint, or the curve of the face are all a reflection of the early influences of religious art on my life.

My art is a quest to find balance and understanding in my own life.
