Evan Kelley

I use opaque acrylic paints on wooden canvas boards, layering them to create vibrant, bold colors with clean lines and crisp details. The smooth surface of the wood allows me to build up textures and shapes, contrasting the paint’s matte finish with the natural grain of the board. This combination brings depth and a tactile quality to my work, making each piece unique.

I’ve explored various art forms throughout my life, including painting, drawing, sewing, sculpting, woodcarving, photography, and videography. I hold an Associate’s degree in Studio Art from Arapahoe Community College. I have been featured in a couple of local exhibits in the past, and I have a permanent installation located at the Children's Hospital in Broomfield.
