Eve Lambert

As a young artist living in Mexico City, my work delves into the complexities of identity and culture. It is deeply personal, yet I aim to capture sentiments that resonate with my peers.

By painting portraits of my friends, I seek to express the nuances of youth and the triumphs and failures that accompany this stage of life as we navigate the progression from studying a passion to participating in a profession with one foot still awkwardly planted in childhood and one stepping confidently into adulthood.

Mexico City based visual artist Eve Lambert was born in the US. After growing up in Guanajuato, Mexico, Eve went on to earn a BS in Physics at the University of Guanajuato where she focused on the application of optics for art conservation.
After a year of graduate work in Germany, Eve decided to pursue her true passion in art. She returned to Guanajuato the following Autumn to create The Paris Series, a reflection of her time in Europe.
