Exploring vulnerability and strength, where emotional tension is expressed through anatomy and color.


Ewa Hewelt is a contemporary painter focused on psychological expressionism, symbolic portraiture, and emotionally charged imagery. Her work explores themes such as trauma, identity, memory, and transformation — often through intense gazes, bold colors, and anatomical distortion.

Her influences include the structural curiosity of Leonardo da Vinci, the emotional depth of Zdzisław Beksiński, and the color sensitivity of Manet and Cézanne.
