Ezequiel Martínez Llaser was born in Argentina in 1981 and lives in Paris.
He studied art and philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and Paris VIII, and participated in various workshops with prominent artists on the current scene.
Coming from a family of photographers, he became increasingly drawn to the visual arts, which allowed him to convey his philosophical ideas.
His art, primarily large-format surrealist oil paintings, is a deconstruction of the reality and values that dominate our society.
His latest series, "Fragmentation and Totality," questions Western rationalism with vitalist philosophical concepts (Nietzsche and Bergson). He is influenced by the painters Dalí and Goya.
He has held important exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and Florence.
In 2019 he participated in the Florence Biennale.
Since 2022, his work has been on display at the Barcelona Museum of Modern Art.
