What memories linger in a discarded object?

My work as a visual artist explores the invisible stories and social energies embedded in materials once used, loved, and thrown away. Since 2014, I’ve been working primarily with discarded wood and fragments of everyday objects, treating them not as waste but as witnesses of human presence.

With a background in graphic and product design, I’m deeply aware of how design often distances the creator from the final object. In contrast, my artistic practice brings me back to the material—its texture, history, and scars. I deconstruct what was abandoned and reassemble it into new visual rhythms, where layout, balance, and tension gain symbolic weight.

Each composition is carefully structured, yet evokes the randomness of how things are found in the trash—stacked, scattered, forgotten. In giving these fragments new visibility, I invite the viewer to reflect on impermanence, transformation, and the silent narratives hidden in the everyday.
