Fari Mccaul

Fari McCaul is a contemporary artist based in Queensland whose practice is grounded in attentiveness, material presence, and inner listening.

She approaches painting as a process of sensing and revision. Surfaces are built, disrupted, and reworked, allowing earlier decisions to remain present within the work. Subtle shifts in tone, texture, and structure create paintings that feel resolved, balanced, and held.

Her work brings memory and presence into the same space, shaped by an ongoing search for what feels true.

McCaul has presented work through exhibitions and residency contexts, including the Ipswich Artist Residency. Her work is held in private collections in Australia and internationally.
