Fátima Sardinha

Fátima Sardinha is a Portuguese abstract painter known for her expressive, large-scale oil paintings defined by gesture, color, and texture. Working primarily with pure oil and a palette knife, she creates dense impasto surfaces where movement and materiality play a central role.
Her work explores human connection, memory, and coexistence through an intuitive and physical process, creating immersive compositions that balance chaos and harmony.
She has exhibited internationally, including the 9th and 10th editions of the Beijing International Art Biennale. Her painting Everything I Want (2022) has entered the permanent collection of the China Artists Association.
