Fausto Battelli

Fausto Battelli (Rome, 1934) was a lithographer,Italian photojournalist and is a painter.
After his academic studies, he experiences the artistic techniques of lithography, ceramics, photography.
In the 50s and 60s he started his career as a photojournalist, capturing the protagonists of the "sweet ROMAN life" (LA DOLCE VITA). After the sixties he devoted himself increasingly to painting, characterizing and being appreciated especially for its bas-reliefs paintings.

From the 70s onwards has held solo and group exhibitions in Europe, America, Australia.

His works are in private collections, public collections, museums and galleries in Italy and abroad.
