Fer Caggiano

Brazilian Artist, USA resident.

Fer Caggiano is a Brazilian born painter, who specializes in landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. Ranging from a traditional to modern style, Fer creates colorful, textured, impasto oil paintings that capture visions of the world she sees. Using her canvas as her window, she provides a bright, new perspective to showcase our beautiful world. Not only does Fer make bold statements with her oils, she also paints using watercolor to create more subtle, relaxing artwork. Venturing off from her smaller canvases, Fer expands her ideas to create beautiful, imaginative murals and decorative paintings.

Fer has loved art since opening her very first box of crayons. She unfortunately believed that art was not a good career growing up, so she dedicated several years of her life to advertising and marketing. Tired of feeling unfulfilled, her heart eventually led her back to painting. She moved to New York and enrolled at The Art Students League where she studied painting, drawing, and mixed media. She lived in New York for three years and London for two years. After her divorce, Fer decided to seek a spiritual path at The Odsal Ling Tibetan Buddhist temple in Brazil for four years.
