Fernando Domínguez (Monterrey, Mexico) is a visual artist and photographer. His work spans conceptual, documentary, and street photography, exploring memory, identity, and the ways people experience and inhabit the world around them. He is interested in the ability of images to open spaces for reflection, curiosity, and poetic inquiry through seemingly ordinary objects and situations. His practice moves between documentary observation and the construction of staged scenes using fiction, metaphor, and the still life tradition.
Alongside his artistic practice, he researches creativity as both a subject and a process, developing methods, tools, and workshops that help artists across disciplines discover and shape new creative projects.
Fernando Domínguez completed a Diploma in Photography at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO), where he also pursued additional studies in contemporary photography and portraiture. He later completed diploma programs in Artistic Photography and Documentary Photography under Dr. Óscar Colorado. His education has been further enriched through specialized courses and workshops in street photography, visual archives, experimental image-making, and computational approaches to image creation and manipulation.
