Ferhard started painting as a 'mental escape' from the corporate world. Jose Parla, Julie Mehrehtu, Swedish artist Astrid Sylwan and German Charline Von Heyl were his main influence in his early start to painting. He greatly admires Spanish master Joan Miro.
Born in 1964, Singapore, he is now based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
