Ann Margret Kirkaldy

I consider my style of art as being between Realism and Contemporary. I first started drawing as a child at the age of nine. While spending years in the military, years as a civilian police officer and years as an administrator, I further developed my drawing style and technique by self-study. During those years, I’ve also received commissions for portraits and drawings. I am fascinated with figures and faces, especially the eyes and capturing the physical emotions of each subject. It is my goal to provide the viewers with a picture that is visually exciting, realistic and full of life. Desiring to focus on my passion, I left my job and relocated, where I now dedicate myself full time to my artistic pursuit.
