Art is the fusion of our inner self with the world around us - Born 1991 in Porto, Portugal, currently living in London, United Kingdom.
My work revolves around the expression of a state of mind, a felling or simply a spontaneous burst of creativity. The absorption of my surroundings is an integral part of the creative process before it becomes something physical.
One of my main sources of inspiration is nature and its elements which I feel deeply connect with, the interactions in the various sensorial forms, sight, smell, sound, taste and touch all take part in my creations either in a direct or indirect form, in that way inevitable I feel compelled to integrate the elements of the earth in my work, mainly soil and sand itself, being in my perspective two of the main components of the earth. Drawing inspiration from the materials itself and combing the natural elements with more conventional materials I find myself in a completely liberating and expressive state. And in this way I hope that the viewer can feel a connection with the work as well.
