Eric Koninckx

I am a Belgian photographer whose artistic vision was born at the crossroads of three paths: horticulture, which revealed the strength and fragility of plants; therapy, which deepened my understanding of human emotions; and photography, which became the poetic bridge uniting them.

My practice unfolds through three complementary collections: Symphonie Florale, immersive mosaics where hundreds of floral fragments form meditative universes; Fleurs en Soi, intimate portraits of single flowers reflecting human emotions; and Graine de Femmes, symbolic portraits blending the feminine essence with organic forms, celebrating inner strength and resilience.

Each composition is meticulously crafted from hundreds of real macro photographs of flowers, assembled manually on dozens of layers through a process of digital collage and light harmonization.
This entirely photographic method — without any AI intervention — gives my works their organic authenticity and unique visual depth.

For me, flowers are not ornaments but mirrors of identity. They reveal hidden aspects of ourselves, inviting viewers to slow down, reconnect, and embrace their inner landscapes.
