Fernando Pinilla

Painter, cartoonist, illustrator and writer. Winner of the Pedro León Zapata Award 2014 for the best cartoonist in Venezuelan and the NAHP GOLD AWARD José Martí, Outstandind Editorial Cartoon 2019. He currently publishes his work in Diario Las Américas (Miami) and the newspaper El Tiempo Latino (Washington DC). He has been a carotoonist of the newspapers Líder, La Voz, La Región, as he has illustrated in the newspapers El Nacional, Últimas Noticias, Líder, Notitarde, Meridiano and 2001; for the Exceso and Clímax magazines and for the portals Elestí and ; all Venezuelan. Also in ESPN Magazine in Spanish and in the magazine of Ismael Cala. Author of four children's stories written and illustrated by him: The fairy of punishment, The mystery of the forest, Fausto Marden (Ediciones COBO) and his latest work, The Cat Glutton (Editorial Planeta). He also has a crime novel, The Whisper of the Butterfly.
