Daniel Gruen (Dano) was born in San Francisco in 1961. His life has allowed him to straddle the Boomer generation as well as Generation X as a menber of generation Jones. A child of the Sixties, with carefree abandon he sees reflections of the world around him in figurative art.
"The human form can reflect and translate the world around us in accessible terms. The dichotomy of strength and vulnerability in the nude pose adds a sense of verisimilitude un-attained in other media".
