I was born in 1954 in Warsaw. I have been taking pictures since the high school. In 1979 I graduated from Warsaw University of Technology - Institute of Printing. Since 1979 I am a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. Since 2002 I am also a member of the Association of Polish Nature Photographers. From 1979 until 1982 I taught photography at the Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 1977, I presented my works at 22 individual exhibitions in Poland and Germany and took part in 12 group exhibitions in Poland, Czechoslovakia and Germany. I gave lectures on photography at the Łódź Film School and the Department of Radio and Television University of Silesia in Katowice. My photographs are in numerous museum and private collections in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Sweden and the USA. I specialize in black and white photography. In addition to practicing photography I am engaged in photographic education and making silver gelatin prints for other photographers. I am an expert in the field of photography.
I received twice a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for documenting of the Polish landscape.
