I am drawn to contrasts of all kinds--in light, texture, shape, warmth, emotion. I believe the contrasts we encounter throughout our lives are what make it meaningful and provide the greatest opportunity for rich experiences. Warm and cold, light and dark, tame and wild, love and loss—the tensions that exist in these contrasting realities are what remind us we are alive and help awaken us to the beauty and fullness of each day.
