Frank Uwe Miedaner

I have been involved in art since my youth. It all started with charcoal drawings and watercolors. My travels took me to international museums, where my main interest was in intensive color design and rather non-objective art. These interests intensified my interest in the classics of abstract expressionism.
My works of art are mostly created intuitively - I use intense colors and develop the respective motif only in the course of the painting process. Materialwise I use both acrylic and oil paints as well as oil stics, I furthermore use wood stain and wall paint in order to receive unexpected effects.

I mainly taught myself my painting techniques. I benefit from my well-developed understanding of color. Apart from that, I try to understand how renowned artists work. I intuitively implement the influences of their creative approaches. Once a year I am studying at famous KUNSTAKADEMIE in Kolbermoor in order to receive new impressions joining classes with international well known artists.
