I was born a true Jamaican island boy. From an early age I loved traveling around the island which led me to taking snap shots of my friends and places we visited.
I was offered an opportunity to study in Lugano Switzerland where at the age of 15 I took a course on photography that would eventually consume my life
As I traveled and photographed the many cities of Europe as a street photographer, influenced by the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson. I was drawn to the character of the old world and the new world and how light and shadows in black and white could evoke suck a mood on my photos.
During my last year studying in Switzerland (1978) my school offered me a one man show of photographs I had taken on a trip to Venice Italy.
Then I studied photography at Barry University in Miami, and after a few student exhibitions I decided to pursue a career as a commercial Photographer.
My work has been well collected by many of the island's corporate institutions, private collectors, the diplomatic corps and many visitors of the island.
Since 2000 I have been an Invited Artist to the National Gallery of Jamaica's Biennials Exhibitions.
