"I like to say that my work is celebratory. An example of how I work is that I might visit a place and something about it will grip me. Then, when I eventually go about drawing it, I’ll consider the intention of the place as well as the experience of being there. From there, it’s a mix of serious overthinking and being playful; designing compositions, layering techniques, and having fun with different styles and themes."
