Every drawing or painting I do is a question: What am I? Who is behind my appearance or my body? Who is the one who sees behind my eyes? What are things and beings in themselves? .I can only see its appearances, its outer surface and I got used to believing that this is reality. But the essential is really hidden from our eyes.
Appearance covers up reality but also gives it away and I realize that art is an intuitive gestural synthesis that transmutes appearances revealing reality.
