Gary Latham

Hi I'm Gary Latham, a UK based freelance commercial photographer. I studied Photography at Blackpool and The Fylde College and Lancaster University with a BA (Hons) in Photography. I moved to London in 1996, where I assisted fashion and advertising photographers before going freelance in 1999/2000.

I've worked for most of the UK's travel magazines, including Lonely Planet, Sunday Times Traveller, Conde Nast Traveller, House and Gardens, Olive, Wanderlust and National Geographic. I have been a regular contributor to Food and Travel Magazine since 1997. I have worked on projects for book publishers Hamlyn, Mitchell Beasley and Random House and advertising commissions from international advertising agencies on projects for Rolls Royce, The Royal Mail, Transport for London and Fairmont Hotels.

From 2012 to 2017, I led photography tours in Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand, combining my passion for travel with my enjoyment of helping others develop their photographic skills.
