Gaudys Laxury

I am a private person at heart, who most powerfully expressed herself through art. I have been influenced by a variety of classical, modern, and contemporary masters. I have a passion for the creative arts, socio-political, and health issues. But in one brief summary, I am a self-taught artist.

As my own toughest critic, I always strive to artistically challenge myself and create pieces out of the norm...outside of the box. My inspiration derives from emotions, events, spontaneous discoveries, experimentation to say the least. I aim to create meaningful and unique art. I never paint the same and exact pieces because each one is created differently from the rest, at any given moment or time.

I work spontaneously and independently, with no idea as to what the outcome will be until taking a few steps back from the canvas and seeing the final result. I am a keen believer of art being a universal language; a manifestation of ideas and an infinite expression of thoughts.

I am an abstract thinker, an explorer- a self taught artist.

Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communications, Master of Arts degree in Political Science with concentration in Public Policy, a Juris Doctor with concentration in Litigation, and a post-doctorate LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property law.
