I'm a Melbourne based abstract artist. I studied at the University of Cape Town (Fine Art, History of Art) and later at the Arts Students League in NYC with the political activist / artist, Rudolf Baranik.
Since setting in Australia in 1997, I've exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney and South Australia. My work is housed in private collections in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, London, New York, New Jersey, Houston and Minneapolis.
I use materials as disparate as oil, plaster, collage, pastel, sand and pencil. Alternating techniques (collage, decollage, electric sanding, painting) result in a complex exchange of the revealed and the hidden. Material and experience are equally woven and unravelled to build a reframed reality.
