A lingering daydreamer, Görkem Buur was born in Istanbul, in 1970.
In between her pursuit of a groove to portray her dreams and her affection for Van Gogh and Gauguin, she fell for the canvas and the paint.
Only painting with the painting knife, she lingers in between Van Gogh’s Post Impressionist Modernism and Gauguin’s Abstract Primitivism.
