Herbert Sax Baerlocher

Born 15.08.1943 as Herbert Baerlocher in Switzerland, studies art history and modern poetry. Performing art experiments in Paris, London, Berlin. From 1973 resident in Kyoto, Japan, practicing ink painting with Susumu Hiromoto. Many exhibitions of colour and ink works in Japan and Hawaii. From 1997 until 2013 he is painting in the Swiss Alpine Valley of Fex, Engadine. In June 2013 he moves to Weimar, and in 2015 to Mistelgau/Obernsees, Germany, where he continues painting in oil tempera and Japan ink.
