Geoff Cunningham

Geoff Cunningham is a Melbourne-based stencil artist creating hand-cut, multi-layer paintings of Australian suburbia, 1970s nostalgia and sunlit street life. His work combines photography, digital composition, hand-cut stencil craft, aerosol painting and traditional brushwork to create crisp, cinematic scenes that feel familiar, slightly lost, and unexpectedly beautiful.
Drawing on old milk bars, trams, beach culture, corner shops, suburban rituals and travel, Cunningham’s paintings turn everyday Australian memories into contemporary pop-realistic artworks. His paintings are held in collections worldwide and he has exhibited at The Other Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair and selected Australian galleries.

Geoff been a full-time artist since 2007.
