As a student with the Massachsetts College of Art I was admitted as a member of The Copley Society in Boston.
My main area of interest while a student from the beginning was the technique of blind gesture and the application of using this technique in the study of movement.
While at the MFA I worked in Areodynamic Enviromental Sculpture and graduated with that medium as my expertise. I minored in stone sculpture.
I went on to create the 2nd Viet Nam Veterans Wall presented to The Speaker of the House of the United States the Honorable Thomas "Tip" O'Nieal,jr. on May 14th,1983 in Washington D.C.
I served with the First Infantry Division in Viet Nam in 1969.
I was collected by Boston College due to this fact also my Purple Heart awarded due to combat injuries resides there as well.
The original autographed photos to me by the Speaker also are part of his momentos of office.
This lead to my being inducted into the Military Order of the Purple Heart Museum at Vails Gate N.Y.
