Georgi Uzunov

I am a contemporary Bulgarian sculptor based in Plovdiv. My work is a physical manifestation of my inner thoughts, emotions, and philosophical inquiries. For me, the creative process is a continuous dialogue between intuition and structure—a search for the delicate balance between the permanence of metal and stone and the fluidity of time.

In my practice, I merge classical craftsmanship with a contemporary minimalist aesthetic. Working primarily with bronze and marble, I explore the relationship between form and material, often using them as metaphors for the passage of time. I strive to create sculptures that invite reflection and emotional resonance, transforming raw material into tangible meaning. With extensive technical expertise in artistic bronze casting and monumental sculpture, my portfolio ranges from intimate gallery pieces to large-scale public monuments.
