Ernie Gerzabek

I am a Hungarian born Sydney contemporary artist from Australia.

Inspired by Nature, I create contemporary landscape and abstract artworks. I shun illustrative art which reproduces what the eyes see, I am more interested in capturing the essential elements of a place and my response to it. My focus is on creating optimistic, happy and spiritually uplifting pieces.

I am a retired chartered architect and now a full time visual artist painter and sculptor. I had more than 20 solo shows and took part in countless group exhibitions.
