Gianni Depaoli

Gianni Depaoli was born in Ivrea (Italy) on March 4th 1961, he works in Candia Canavese. He created exhibitions and installations to witness environmental degradation and the violence on the animals through exhibitions supported by museums and istituzionals authorities: initiatives know with the name of "Mare nero" museums of Bergamo (Black Sea), "Allarme Ambiente" Genova museum of Science, "A" like "Ambiente" in Turin, museum "Garda" in Ivrea, "Marineland Antibes" and a lot of other projects rappresented through installations, "Anime Silenziose" (Silent Souls) inagurated in the Milan's aquarium, “to the Quinto Mondo" (5th world), Paratissima Turin, "Oceaniche Alchimie" biennal Italy-China Torino. The new research developed by using inks and skins of cephalopodos brings him to investigate the matter for find the beautiful of the things, abbandoning but not forgetting the previous tragedies. This gives life to the new series of exhibitions: "RossoMare" in the Gallery of Modern Art in Genova Nervi, to the installation of Italian Embassy in Montecarlo (France) of the work "Prede e Pescatori" , Macist Biella Italy and other Institutional Building. He is interested in Art, Philosophyand natural and artificial to beauty.
