Gigi Francis

Gigi Francis is a London-based visual artist exploring identity and duality, often using recycled materials. Her practice navigates intersections of belonging as an immigrant, womanhood after motherhood, neurodivergence and mental health, expressing the creative tension and harmony in these layered aspects of her life.

Gigi also maintains an intuitive abstract practice, often using bright colours and household paint, as a way to unlock, unblock and process emotions that stem from overwhelm and overstimulation, using spontaneous mark-making as a powerful tool for self-understanding and renewal.
