Gilad Ophir

Gilad Ophir is a Tel Aviv–based visual artist working across photography, abstraction, and mixed media. His practice moves beyond direct representation, creating works in which the image emerges through material processes, layered surfaces, and experimentation. Balancing fragility and structure, his works explore the tension between photography, objecthood, and abstraction. Alongside his studio practice, Ophir has also been active in teaching, curating, and writing on art and photography.
