For over two decades, Gina has used photography as a way to slow the world down. Her work lives at the intersection of observation and instinct, balancing technical skill with a deep sensitivity to light, mood, and atmosphere. She is drawn to quiet, easily missed moments—the subtle gestures, shifting forms, and fleeting alignments that reveal something honest and human.
Her photographic voice was shaped through formal art school training and years of travel across more than 40 countries. Always with a camera in hand—once carrying bags of carefully rolled film—she learned to work intuitively, responding to what unfolds rather than forcing a narrative. This documentary approach continues to influence her fine art practice, where patience and presence are essential tools.
Whether photographing people, landscapes, or abstracted scenes, Gina explores perception—how memory, emotion, and environment blur together. Her images invite viewers to pause, look closer, and discover meaning in what might otherwise pass by unnoticed.
