Mmaduako Gloria

Gloria Eberechukwu Mmaduako, was born October 1994. She is a dedicated full-time studio artist hailing from Nigeria, is firmly rooted in Abuja. Her artistic repertoire primarily revolves around the masterful use of oil, acrylic paint, and charcoal. Gloria's artistic journey commenced with the acquisition of a National Diploma (ND) in general arts from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in 2015, followed by a triumphant pursuit of a B.A. degree in Fine and Applied Arts from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in 2019.

In her artistic journey, she find my true dedication in the vibrant interplay of color and thematic expression. Exploring profound concepts like human connection, spirituality, and the evolution of conflicts, she weave together timeless and contemporary narratives to foster ongoing dialogue with her audience.

The symbolism of leaves in her paintings is deeply rooted in nature's ability to shed the old and embrace the new. Much like how leaves provide shade and birth new ones, life offers us opportunities for transformation and renewal. Leaves symbolize life, fertility, optimism, and boundless growth.

I graduated with a National Diploma (ND) in general arts from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) 2015 and B.A degree in Fine and Applied Arts from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) 2019.

Throughout her career, Gloria has been an active participant in a multitude of art group exhibitions and Professional Artist Conferences, solidifying her presence within the art community. Noteworthy mentions include her first solo exhibition, Femme Naturelle: A celebration of Women and Nature at ogrikan gallery 2023
Her involvement in the "Master Class: Made in Nigeria 2.0" event, jointly organized by the Nigerian-German for Jobs, Migration, and Reintegration, and the esteemed Nike Art Gallery in both 2022 and 2023.
Gloria's creative endeavors have graced exhibitions such as the "Abuja Openhouse Exhibition" in 2022, the "Affordable Art Exhibition of Paintings" in 2021, and the virtual group art exhibition "We Believe You Art Exhibition" in 2020. Her artistic prowess has also been recognized through accolades, including clinching the first position in the visual art category at the 5th Biennial National Conference of Music and Performing Arts in 2019. Additionally, she achieved a commendable feat as one of the top 25 artists in a visual art competition hosted by the Embassy of Spain in the same year.
