Marianna Godici

I graduated from the decorative arts department of the Moldovan Republican Art School.

I started working as a textile artist at the "Folk Crafts of Moldova" association, painting decorative fabrics and panels. Perfected my scills by painting clothing and accessories during my collaboration with the Chisinau Fashion House.
Over time, I began creating paintings using the batik technique. Over practicing batik for over 20 years,
I developed my own style, which is closer in technique to watercolor.

Now, I am a freelance artist, working in the cold batik technique (i.e. aniline dyes on natural silk).
I create paintings in this technique, primarily
landscapes and floral still lifes.
