At this time my stile could be described as Pop Art with a great amount of symbolism and surrealism. My iconography is based on all kind of cultural references and mass media products present in our collective unconscious (trademarks, characters, objects or texts that we all know) although taken out of its context to give them a new sense through the dialog created between them. The most used icons are those refering to my childhood, or even those related to my children’s preferences. Erotism is also common, but with a bit of naivety.

I want to provoke the spectators through this decontextualization of the characters and the apparent incongruency of the performance, and let opposing feelings get out by the title or the iconography I use. I want them to let the childhood memories come out or feel the erotic attraction of a glance, the beauty of violent scenes, or to laugh when figuring out the contradictions of my work.

My paintings have a lot of influence of 50’s and 60’s american and british Pop Art, Paolozzi, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Rauschenberg, Spanish artists like Equipo Crónica, Antonio de Felipe, Óscar Seco, or present ones like Banksy, Takashi Murakami or Yue Minjun.
