Christina Gorbachevskaya

Christina Gorbachevskaya is a contemporary multidisciplinary visual artist specializing in painting, mixed media, and conceptual installations.
Her artistic practice serves as a deep visual inquiry into human consciousness, neurobiology, and the architecture of trauma. Working primarily with mixed media on canvas, Gorbachevskaya approaches painting as a neurobiological too - mapping the volatile space where intuitive flow clashes with perceptual breakdown. Her intricate, layered compositions merge distorted organic forms, biomorphic structures, mycelial networks, and digital glitch aesthetics to visualize the brain's neuroplasticity and psychological states. 
Through ongoing bodies of work such as Internal Topography, she explores the tension between systematic control and chaotic internal landscapes, translating microscopic biological and psychological concepts into powerful metaphors. Based and creating in Israel, her work has been featured in multiple exhibitions and private collections.
