Laura Caparrelli

I am an Italian artist which has loved and experimented almost all classical art technique, passing through the digital ones.
In this moment of my life i've found in the collage technique the perfect fit for my freedom of expression and personality matching.
In my work there is always a dialogue, a contrast, a comparison, a mockery between two opposites, often between some transcendent and immanent ones, the two faces of a reality or something sarcastic.
My work is inspired by my recurring reference (and obsessions, i'd say) as the Mystic, alchemy, mythology, something sacred in life and its eternal mockery upon us.
My background as an art student and then The design bachelor influenced my work without doubts. Being a graphic designer for more than 10 years has rised my obsession for some composition elements and the adoration for the line.

I studied art and painting restoration (diploma) and then I have reached the bachelor degree in industrial design. Worked for more than 10 years as graphic designer, and always dreamed to be an artist.
