The series of abstract paintings creates alternative reality which refers to the primal idea of creation. Usually, it begins with CHAOS of shapes, colors, composition that is being ordered and structured with every layer of the painting till each element gets its own meaning and completeness. Ambiguity and multilayer allow the viewer to follow all the meanders, find new visual riddles and be drawn into a deep.

Interest in the human figure was present in my creativity from the very beginning. Lately, it became limited to just a portrait– with special focus on a woman’s image in media.
Most of my inspiration comes from computer screens, the world of technology and visual information.
I experiment with different painting techniques, and use cut outs, signs and typography to achieve a bold, layered, “pop cultured”, sometimes chaotic and distorted effect. I hope to find artistic means of expression that reflect modern, fast pacing visual representation.

BA from Tadeusz Makowski Art College in 1995 and MA from Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz in 2000.
