Greg Robbins

Greg Robbins is a New York based figurative artist whose work explores the primal energy and emotional depth of the nude. His approach explores both the beauty and vulnerability of the male form. His bold and confident brushwork focuses on the raw essence of the pose. His work seeks the truth of a single moment in the studio, and invites an audience to connect with the quiet, sensual moments that define the human experience. His expressive, gestural marks (with their focus on light, shadow, and the power of a simple gesture) spark the viewer's imagination to connect to the image.

Robbins has exhibited both nationally and internationally. His work is in collections in the US and Europe. He was honored at the Kennedy Center with a First Place Award in Design Excellence.
