Griselda Gruni

I am a visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Artistic Production and Contemporary Thought. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Art at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), where my research is centered on artistic practice as a form of thinking and knowledge production.

My work operates at the intersection of theory and practice, exploring processes, materials, and languages of contemporary art from an experimental and reflective perspective. My current research focuses on astrobotany, a branch of astrobiology and botany that studies the growth and behavior of plants in space environments, understood here as an expanded field for reflecting on life, ecosystems, and interspecies relationships.

Through my practice, I investigate how images, living bodies, and spaces generate forms of relation and meaning. My projects bring together the visual, the material, and the conceptual to propose narratives that question the limits of the human and open up new ways of imagining coexistence between species.
